RE: "Merrill Lynch writes "while LLTC's focus on high returns has allowed the co to improve gross margin, we believe the strategy has also led to limited topline growth;""

I listened to the conference call, to the Merrill analysts' question and the ROFL response from LLTC's management. First, it is not true that the company made a recent decision to "focus on high returns". Second, the company has not "improved gross margin" or net margin, recently. Both have come down from the 2000 peak. The company claims that it has had many new wins and has probably gained market share. The company scoffed at the idea that there were many "high performance" competitors. The company attributed the limited top lne growth to the limited growth of customers' products.
