But it isn't very helpful, nor very productive. If one person is arguing that Hamlet is really about interstellar travel, and another is arguing that it's an allegory of life in a termite mount and another arguing that it really makes sense only if you translate it into Sanscrit and then read it backwards to the tune of Yankee Doodle, that may be fun for awhile, but it's not really going to produce much helpful insight.
