You're make a very elementary error that so many continue to make and that is confusing opinion columns with a newspaper's coverage of the news... Columnist's do not represent the views of the newspaper.....their views are their own. The NYTimes has conservative as well as liberal columnists as do all reputable newspapers. Newsmax does not. BTW, the Times includes complete details of its polls in the editions for NYC and the surrounding area...of that I'm sure. Also if you're willing to pay for the archived copy since it too old to be free, I think you'll find the poll details in the on-line version also.
