Well, all of humanity may be stretching it, but as someone with a scientific background, how do you compare what comes up with google.com or directory.google.com to the 5 citations LindyBill came up with in #reply-18118955 ? Even the soundest "politically correct" science has to have better "debunkers" than nickyee.com and some random biblical science type.

And it's not like I don't think there were problems with the CFC program. Astonishingly, about 25 cents worth of a propane and butane mixture is a perfectly good replacement for an R12 auto AC charge that will cost you probably $300-$500 to get replaced these days, if not more. But what happened there has a lot more to do with the usual regulations written at the behest of the regulatees than it has to do with "eco-nuts". Though of course there was an element of 60 Minutes / Dateline NBC "science" involved in suppressing the cheap alternative there too.
