Looks like the Bush Administration is proposing a resolution in the UN very similar to the one supported by Wellstone and McDermott.

Interesting that now the opposition's best and loudest argument is that if we attack, Saddam will use his WMDs. In other words, it's already too late to "deal" with him.

Which is to say that the Administration, at least in closed intelligence briefings, has indeed made its case that Saddam has to be dealt with, and the only question was how soon and with what ferocity?......
