A very illuminating release...housing starts booming while new jobless claims remain over 400K. All while bond and mortgage yields are being launched on the space shuttle. The inflection point on housing is here, refis and new home starts will be MUCH lower (seasonally adjusted or not) in 3 months. The pop we get in the week(s) to come will be the one to see builders and mortgage lenders into in a big, big, big way.
