I don't have anything against Virginia; in fact, that's why I am trying to protect the rights of Virginians.

If you don't stand up for your rights every time somebody tries to chip away at them just because they only want to take a little chip, you're in for a rude surprise when the last chip falls. That is why these intrusions on the Second Amendment bother me.

In point of fact, it DOES bother me that my constitutional rights are abridged in the building where I work. I tolerate it because I have no need to carry at work, nor anywhere else for that matter. I'm interested in preserving the right for so the need arises it will be there.

What I find bizarre is that you have the restriction [no gun in a Federal building] in Alaska and it doesn't bother you, but it troubles you that they would do something similar in Virginia. That is truly puzzling. What do you have against Virginia?
