fwiw, i asked AA about that once, whether the emotional/thought progressions that market participants experience while markets are closed, that would normally translate into what we see as waves, can be considered even though they are not "seen" and he suggested they should not be considered.

edit: i guess you can't really consider them since they would be assumptions anyway, interesting stuff to think about though

They are indeed hidden waves, but the problem is it is often difficult to make sense of them until well into hindsight. Can't determine what you cannot see...
