I think you may be right unless Greenspan devalues the dollar or something. Do you have any thoughts about how gold will fare?

You think Greenie will let deflation happen? I think he prints til the cows come home when we get into deep doo doo... The only way to bail out the credit mess is to make money cheaper?

Just spent the last hour on the phone with an old colleague who got freaked at his quarterly mufu statement. This guy was 100% invested in equities. His advisor of course thinks the bottom is in and told him to chill.

It took a friggin' hour to finally convince him to tell his adviser to F.O. and take advantage of the equity rally/bond sell-off and re-allocate to 50% cash and 50% bonds. Hope to hell he listens.
