Add to that fact that a close around $51.60 - $51.75 ish would leave a textbook hanging man on MSFT. MSFT is also sitting above the top BB and has its highest +di level in the past year as well. A gap down tomorrow would likely leave another baby on the indices and a high volume reversal on the MSFT charts.

Jeff, that 1757.19 in Oct 98 wasn't a low. It would be very extreme not to fill the several large gaps under us. Plus no capitulation on the low.

Agree 100%. That nikkei vs. msft comparison says alot if msft is currently where the nikkei was at the end of the first quarter in 1999.

If it is, and the comparison holds, it is heading back into the high 60s, maybe even the 70's. If not and msft is at mid to late 1998 on the nikkei, significant new lows are on the way.

Thanks again for posting the nikkei chart and for the objectivity you have maintained on the retrace.
