I was talking from personal experience. That is enough to be pessimistic about.

The dems are grand at promising the moon. The sheep are grand at following.

The more money the dems can wrestle from the hands of the productive and distribute to the hands of the unproductive the more votes they will get.

Since I am one of the productive, I resent it. Handouts don't exist in my world.

American character, or lack thereof, seems to be evenly divided.
