By all available evidence not filtered through the war propaganda lens, Saddam isn't particularly close.

By all available evidence, Saddam is trying really hard and we don't know if he is close or not -- we haven't had inspectors in the country for four years.

So, your conclusion is that we should just wait around and hope for the best?
