Mr. Rexley, I found buddies observations on their face idiotic. That's even before I consider the fact buddy seems unable to even quote someone correctly from post only hours old.

So if buddy has been to a church service in the last decade, would it matter as after about 15 seconds buddy does not remember what he has read, so how could he remember who he saw and what did they do that was loud and then what at some other time they did that seemed inconsistent with whatever buddies calls being religious in the first place.

When I go to church, I don't pay attention to what others are doing. To me what others do does not matter and is not why I am attending church.

So I wonder does buddy really know anyone who goes to church on a regular basis. They by the way all seem to vote Republican.

Re: "This is an obvious statement and one I agree with."

>>> So we don't have any fundamental disagreement....

Re: "But your statement was not that there are people like this, it was that the ones who are the most vocal ARE the most hypocritical. You don't know that or have facts to back it up."

>>> If that is what you interpreted from my original post, I apologize. Obviously I didn't mean EVERYONE, ALL the time... but rather I believe I used the word "often"... as in "many" people... "a large part of the time", etc.

>>> Obviously not everyone, or all the time.

>>> It was a simple observation, nothing more... but one I've found much agreement with, both in small town America, and elsewhere.

>>> Sometimes the most ostentatious are NOT the most devout....

>>> As far as 'me not having any facts to back it up'... what kind of 'facts' would you accept?
