I get lectures on civility often enough, but more common are lectures on "sarcasm" and "sneering" from Nadine. I find it all ironic enough, of course.

On the fan front, I will freely admit I'm not a big war fan. There's this nasty tendency for a lot of people to get killed in things like that, even if the casualties are unlikely to be American these days. Others don't share that disposition.

Then there's the North Korea thing, apparently officially no big deal due to the focus problem it might present. Lectures on the inner logic of things like that are amusing enough, but they lead to questions about what, exactly, the word "threat" means. I guess it means pretty much whatever the marketeers want it to mean. War is peace and all that.
