A few years ago I was asked, in the pastor's absence, to deliver some sermons in my church, and I did so gladly, even though I am not ordained. Unfortunately, in many if not most churches in the United States today, you could not do similar because you are a female.

At least McCain, unlike GWB, had the guts to disassociate himself from the Bob Jones U. mentality.
