I like McCain, in spite of his flaws.

Someone who can speak extemporaneously at length and answer questions thoroughly and honestly is worthy of public service, even if they are wrong occasionally, they are of great value.

People like that can create respectable debate and build a great democracy.

There are many other fine Americans who are eliminated from public debate before they even get to the candidate stage, McCain and Nader were exceptions.
