Another thing, we could go back further and think that England was a colony of Rome, which brought civilisation to barbarians. The English language is Roman-derived for a start. Romans had large scale rule of law of sorts, though more inclined to dagger in the toga as means of electoral process than actual voting in the English constituency.

Historians could probably point back further to Greece. Maybe to Iraq and possibly Egypt. Heck, we might have to dig right into the core of Africa somewhere to find the original White Man.

It has been a long, slow, arduous process.

Okay, let's pick up the burden; shoulder to the wheel, nose to the grindstone, eye on the ball, back to the wall, hand on the tiller, ear to the ground, feet on the floor and head out of the clouds. There's lots of work needed. We've got to colonize Iraq, Afghanistan and maybe Libya and possibly Iran. North Korea too, but that can be done by the White Men in South Korea. China is self-colonizing.

Thanks for the amusing tale of the talker's corner in Hyde Park. I am about to do the same here. Speaking out at an anti-war rally I'm organizing, opposing those who dare to conceive of their ruthless territorial aggression as benevolent and kind hostage releasing. The fakers of the West spout "let's bring democracy to Iraq" as they ruthlessly scheme to steal the assets of fakirs of the East. And God said it was just that we have the oil, for what do the 'Bedou' know of how to use it? Tell that to the tots about to be blown to smithereens by the daisy cutters and the hyperbarics and the 1,000 pounders raining down from 50,000 feet. That's damn civilizing, if you get my drift.
