If we had nothing to fear from Iraqi WMD then all the other "rational arguments" wouldn't amount to much. I suppose there would still be the technical argument that he violated the cease fire but who would care about inspections if WMDs where not dangerous. There would also be the fact that he is a murderous thug but he is hardly the only national leader that fits that description.
