I'll have to see how it trades in the next few days. I don't like the fact of the trials taking place in CA due to the natural bias. Everyone in CA experienced some sort of problem due to the energy crisis there. And they are going to be partial? Luckily any fine can be appealed, but this could drag on for years. I believe civil cases are less strict in the evidence they require. Do I really expect a jury to consider MAOP? Reconsidering the size of my position, but will probably hold at least until earnings.

This witch hunt is going to cost CA in the long run. Who is going to want to supply CA with power in the future?

The whole thing makes me sick knowing how much CA caused it's own problems. And it appears they are going to get away with it. Seems like the industry should file a counter-claims lawsuit against CA. I would love to see that.

My suspicions might be confirmed. EP will probably become the whipping boy in CA. Noted same before the recent run and stood aside. No, I did not ride the recent advances, and there may be limited downside, but the political winds in CA seem difficult to "value" IMHO.
