Its one thing if he attacks Kuwait and its another if he attacks the US directly. Its my
understanding Bush wants to take Saddam out mostly because he might present problems for us.


Sadam attacking Kuwait is a problem for us, but one well within our ability to solve. Saddam attacking Kuwait while having nukes complicates things a lot.
