That's why when I heard about a "burned out" rear light, I figured he might have been using it as a firing port of sorts. But that, and some of the other recent descriptions, appear to have been fabricated.

Given the recent reports, it appears the guy simply picks a good spot to sit and wait for his prey-- a "good spot" meaning some place with quick and easy access to roads by which he can make a hasty departure from the area.

I fail to see how anyone can describe this guy as being anything close to intelligent. Does he display reasonable common sense? Yes. Does he have balls? Yes. But I think he's also been lucky as hell.
