I'd say because October is usually good for extreme voltility and options expirey week is recipe for holes(gaps). The market could roll-over at anytime based on the crappy bases, however, i think we may rally to or slightly above the 200 MA's on many charts/indices before a retrace of recent lows or (possibly to head lower for many stocks/indices for another leg down), know one should feel left out!
