Eric You may be right about a long gun from farther inside of the van. It would be simpler for the shooter to sit in the passenger seat so that he could assess the targets and the setups simultaneously with the driver. And these guys are into efficiency, in my view. One of the experts on TV seemed to have an inside pipeline to info and he said all the shots were from 50-100 yards. A tuned up Mini 14 or AR 15 could make those shots. As you say, inside of a four inch circle would be tough. So what about inside of a twelve inch circle--from 60 yards. Even I could make that shot.
