Oh, :) My opinion: the first two years were a little rough, then he hit his stride. His mastery of details was widely ridiculed at the time... but we could use some of that right now. The economic team was very strong. Paying down debt - where Reagan/Bush talked a good game but never could - was a great thing. Lowered long term interest rates and kept federal borrowing from crowding out the private borrowing... and engendered the strongest economic performance in 20 or 30 years.
