AJ, if I'm reading you right you are suggesting it was not a disaffected spook or other, but a spook of the govt. sent to kill one of the govt.? Not that that doesn't happen, but aren't there quieter ways? She was not on the radar. A simple so-called accident would be easier. Unless we've gotten sloppy. And she was the last shot. If no more are shot, that's a bit supicious. Unless one really wants to make a point. Interesting times.

But then, as you said, Bouchard ALMOST died... One cannot compare an obscure FBI analyst with a high-profile political leader. While it makes sense indeed to stage-manage the assassination of a troublesome breakaway politico as a poison accident, it'd be "overkill" to do the same with an FBI analyst.... A car accident would nicely fit the bill.
