but there are almost No wartime AK-47's you'll find in North American "official" gun shops as these are full-auto! If you're talking a US gun dealer he would need be a Class III to have/sell the full auto's. Then there is still the pesky fact the barrel is a .311-312" on the AK and the bullet of the 7.62 NATO is but .308-308" dia.

That said, there is still the safety issue if you were to ever fire the 7.62X39 AMMO again in the rechambered to 7.62NATO AK.

but shouldn't we really be talking about the next gold rally about to begin?
