I like to use the links bar quite a bit in MSIE5.5. About half the slots are links, and half are folders that have lots of links in them. When I drop a folder down and click on a link, and I have a number of windows open, sometimes in earlier and later versions of IE the link will open in some window other than the one I am working in.

5.5 does this fine. I tried 6.0 and couldn't get it to work right, although a month or so ago somebody on this thread managed to do it with just the right settings. If you put folders on your links bar this is something to consider.
