Jeffrey, sorry for the delay, I was out all day.

An ‘ABC’ implies a three-wave rally or a decline, a correction of the larger trend. In this case, I wanted to convey very briefly the idea that this entire rally may have been corrective, and that it may be near its completion, and that the wave ‘C’ might be taking the shape of an Ending Diagonal, which in classical TA is an Ascending (or Descending) Wedge.

As for the “lost” details… this has to do with the (controversial) speculation that sometimes details of waves may “hide” in gaps, and therefore in a market with many gaps an Elliottician sometimes may have to “best guess” structures which may not be clearly visible. I’d like to point out that many would not consider such “counts” legitimate. We just had a discussion about this… check this post and the replies.

And here is a nice, simple and colorful (g) introductory discussion on waves.
