We didn't sell or give him many weapons nor did our government assist in his creation of WMD. Tim, I didn't say we sold him a lot of weapons but we did sell him some. As for assisted him in his development of WMD, I didn't mean to imply that we gave him instructions on how to build a nuke but rather we didn't stop the sale of American products needed to develop WMD even though we had the ability to do so. My point is......Saddam hasn't changed but rather our point of view re him has. Its what makes us look hypocritical and dishonest. ted
