Thanks. When I saw the section of the U. S. Code that I posted I began to get the same impression. The writer of the article appears to be a good source. From the information provided by Secretary Rumsfeld in the audio that I posted, it appeared that he had considered it. I believe that the press article that I posted from the Department of Defense was in error when it stated that the FBI made the request. However, I could not find anything authoritative that would negate the information in the press article. At any rate, I do not see anything sinister in the whole effort. Take care this weekend. Our shooter nut may have taken off most of this week just to plan a few shootings this weekend.
