Thanks. Yep, looks like the public is selling equity funds into the rally and moving the money into taxable bond funds and money markets. Rallying in spite of a $4.1B outflow (wk ended Wed) is interesting. But what it means kind of depends on the horizon you're looking at. Very short term, funds are depleting cash by both buying stocks and redeeming holders. Longer term, though, one could take this as a contrary indicator with small investors chasing last quarter's winners - bond funds - just as they seem to be rolling over. Then there's the matter of so much money flowing into money markets at crappy yields. How long will people sit there watching the grass grow?
