My understanding is that even after "abandoning its heavy water reactor", there was enough plutonium "missing", that the CIA believed that North Korea had enough to build at least a couple nuclear bombs.

So what? ( and BTW the media IS reporting that) They got the material anyway. It's clear now that Clinton should have not stopped at anything short of regime change in NK.

Now we'll probably have to stand back and watch Asia go up in smoke.

Rush is talking about a speech tom delay made on the congress floor in oct 98 quoting business week article that North Korea had not slowed down the nuke business. He goes on and on... I think it was around the same time our of sec of state went over to the visit them and said the north were in full compliance.. I'm sure this speech will find someplace here soon.
