Tin - JMHO but I think you should forget about trying to defend the home team, I doubt you'll get too much sympathy on this thread. These guys should at least know how to count, if nothing else. The simple truth is that the Street is having its own turn at recession, and the WS boyz-in-training should (and will) get the same treatment excess personnel get/got/will continue to get in any other industry with overcapacity. If that sounds harsh, it's because it is. Families, mortgages, kids and all, they will survive somewhere else. A little dose of economic reality never hurt anybody -- been there done that myself
