Ted, I think AMD stuffed the channel in Q2 and thus had to let it drain out in Q3. Plus they're trying to get higher-speed (and thus higher ASP) parts out, but it's obvious that they're having production problems with them.

Ten, I agree........I think they sold off the channel inventories from Q2 real cheap; hence, the poor revenue totals for Q3.

I think their upbeat Q4 forecast is based on less inventory and an aim toward solving those production problems. And like I said in my previous message, with a huge miss in Q3, anything that is better than the toilet is great news.

Agree again.....see my post to Tim. Now, why is INTC so negative.......again see my post to Tim, and tell me if you do or don't agree.
