musical flashback for an 11 year old...amid all of the CRAP that pre-teen girls listen to these days on occasion I'm able to penetrate the sphere with a good one...it's easiest if it's something they are familiar with..like a song they used to love or that universal, irresistible hook
song loading......"Whatever Dad..."

2 minutes into "Wonderwall" the smile appears...she used to sing that one from stern to stem out the window of the truck with the wind blowing the words back at her

and so it ends up in the truck...what a beautiful piece of noise --"(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" --by far the best thing Oasis will ever do

she issues orders in the form of CD compilations she hands out to friends...I always lobby for one tune to add...the last round I slipped in "Found Out About You", Gin Blossoms...close enough to that GOO GOO DOLLS crap, but better...much better

She's agreed to make a comp from my picks, with her approval on each tune<gg>
