To: LTK007 who wrote (58 ) 10/18/2002 10:02:17 PM From: Harbie Read Replies (1) | Respond to of 94 don't confuse your "boiler room" experiences with our trading...maybe i can break it down for you, since you have apparently never been around us when we trade, and if you have, then you would realize how silly your comments are: 20-40 of us in a live stock chat, most of us doing live scans and running live newswatches and checking charts, split lists, filings, etc... someone finds a stock on scan, checks the historical, the previous news and L2 ( all of this in about 10 seconds - that's what we call dd ) "hey guys, i'm looking at xxxx, looks like a complete p.o.s. and i don't know what they do, but L2 looks ok and there's huge volume this morning...i'm going in for 20k, see how much i can lose on this one" if it goes up, and anyone bought, and we get out w/ a profit, then great, if not, we shake our heads and look for the next one..this is a simplified version - but any of us who have traded together for years know when a pumper comes in pushing a stock at the day high and the 52 week high - we laugh at them and move on... so, while wayne needs no defense, i just have to chuckle when you say he's a penny stock pumper...i think that might be the wrong label to put on a guy who thinks all stocks are garbage, taking profits at any time is great, and if they go up at all it's a miracle... i think u might want to look for the people we scoff at on a daily basis, the ones who we make fun of constantly who actually "push" stocks, and promise certain price points, and dump shares, and tell u not to sell, and old ladies and boiler rooms and all this other garbage - lol... YOU ARE TALKING TO A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO are happy to buy a stock at a dime and sell it at .12 lol... but thanks for your efforts...uh,uh...
