You are such a total ass. Yes, Member States were forbidden by the UN to act under its authority to invade Iraq. Do you nothing about the declaration of war? The UN authorized a fight against Iraq because Iraq invaded Kuwait. No invasion of Iraq was authorized and member countries were explicitly told they could not invade Iraq as part of the action concerning Kuwait. If we invade Iraq it is an unprovoked act of war on the same legal footing as Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.
