re: Rydex giving ST sell signal I've been watching rydex all year since I read the MITA thread. Rydex has been flashing "strong buys" all year, Rydex has been strongly short especially naz (it is supposed to be a contrarian indicator). In other words its a false indicator. All I can conclude is that Rydex has turned into smart money only. There is no dumb money left. My broker also said the retail investor is gone, so there you go. I'd like to see what the rydex indicators said about the mkt in the 70s/80s before online trading took hold.
