communist "elections" is an oxymoron
I presume that communists would also benefit from polls. The collective wisdom of people often has interesting insite. Too often communists are all considered equivalent to J.Stalin who was really just a crazy dictator and not an anything-ist. At any rate, I agree that changing leadership via polling does not seem to have been practiced by any communist regime I heard of (Maybe the Sandanistas).
