I thought it was just so weird. I can't imagine - literally, can not imagine - being attacked and not fighting back.

Not just not fighting back, musing to himself how he deserves it while he's being beaten to death. It's a definite statement on his psychology, if you ask me.

Just one pebble to come wizzing at me and it would be on. ;)
