No no no, he isn't French, he is French Canadian, and by the way, his French isn't better than his English. He is an absolute embarrassement to all Canadians. As a result of years of Chretien government our military has all but disappeared. He claims his government is behind the US on the war on terrorism and in the meantime he finds it amusing to hang out with known terrorists. I seems to have totally missed the point that 85% of our international trade is with the US and that we have more in common with our US neighbour than all these African dictators he enjoys hanging out with so much. But then again, I am ashamed to admit that many Canadians, suffering from a total lack of Canadian identity, define our national identity as anything BUT whatever is American. Pathetic, isn't it?
