I am feeling pretty unsettled these days, given the recent echoes of 9-11. So who do we turn to as an icon for these times? Too bad Jimi wasn't still here to help us out. Jimi's grandmother and my grandfather were contemporaries on the eastside of Vancouver in the first half of the last century. I doubt they knew each other. Apparently Jimi used to travel from Seattle to visit her, although I don't remember seeing him at any of Easter "Be-In's" they used to have in Vancouver in the 60's. Not that anyone was in much shape to remember anything... Hugh

Bali bombing muslims disrupting a successful Hindu enclave <<how does BALI bombing map into this landscape... <<how does a daisycutter map into this landscape... better there then here, and after the daisycutters , how about a Marshall plan..is this the worlds way out of deflation and depression? redevelop Arabia? bring them into the modern world, free the slaves in these countries,free women,and like i said Slow them down,slow them down as maybe all were buying is time, for this is not a new problem. regards
