I assumed he was talking about Nov. 11, Veteran's Day in the U.S., Remembrance Day in Canada. What I am curious about, and what I think Tommaso was referring to, was:

"I know that your country loves to start a war on Remembrance day, which is the eleventh. "

I will restate Tommaso's question: What war or wars have we started on the 11th?
