Sounds to me like he's trying to paper over the fact he missed the bounce. He probably has more than a few subscribers on his case.

It's tough when you have to answer to somebody other than yourself for your judgment calls, but it's disappointing to see him compromising here. I'd rather hear him say "Okay, I missed it, sorry about that" and stick to his guns than get wishy-washy like this

Abelson in Barron's admitted he was dead wrong on stocks and bonds and then said why he thought he'd eventually be right. Alas, he pounded on the dead corpse known as Intel instead of IBM. But he made a good case for the resurgence of AMD.
