Isael is in a tough spot and has been from the beginning -- but there is no indication that their policies have been effective and much evidence to the contrary. There are times when getting tough is the only option, but there are plenty of other times where more peaceful means yield substantially greater returns. Israel is responsible for some of the violence being inflicted on themselves as a result of decisions made in Israel. Terrorism flourishes in an atmosphere of repression.
