Btw, thriller-action-movie-media-and-humor (UK-US-Finland) reflection. Pretty funny to notice how mobile (not the homes nor trailers, but the) phones, well, carphones, even Bentley-phones, are stepping into british media-production, makes some older thingies really funny, "why doesn't he/she use his handset, send a SMS message, stupid hero/evil guy", just like the kids used to shout "Watch out, Tarzan, the Lion, behind you!!" in the old moving picture days. Specifically I'm waiting for variations on the already ancient finnish variation, after the tradegy of the sunk ferry Estonia (96??), the guy in that sunk ferry, some minutes of air left in the cabin, GSM-calling his waiting wife.. (end scene, she looking out over the sea, like so many women before her) Knowing how difficult it is for even 900MHz to go through regular water I still think it was a good, dramatic, somewhat creative idea, especially that thing about what so many wives/widows of sailors have done through history. Ilmarinen No comments on how those frequencies go through heaps of rubble, or work from airplanes. To converge back on UK, when will they allow the fox to get some prepaid, subsidized SMS messages, alternatively set up the dogs with 7650s?? Me thinks that might have been why Le Maistre was so worried about the power consumption of colour videos, although he had not bothered to measure it himself, that problem with handling a regular screwdriver??
