Saddam is no Hitler. He's a CIA-trained placeholder that needs to be brought in line by the same crew that set him up and gave him poison gas in the 1980s, and leave the lies and rhetoric aside. The Congressional approval was, IMO, a travesty, but, you're right, they voted in favor. The problem was the attempt by the Executive Branch to bypass, which has been encroaching towards executive dictatorship since JFK, bit by bit. Junior was whining this time, "yeah, but I'm only asking for what other pres. got!". Too bad. They were wrong too. This ain't WWII, it's an oil deal, with a thin veneer of geopolitical justification, and your daddy and cronies are helping themselves to big shares of the action. France - like Congress. Give 'em enough candy and smokes and they'll line up for oil contracts, just like Russia, if it looks like the Big Dog is going in. Dont' get so blood-lusty that you get into the pornography of high-tech victorious violence over the infidels. That's as bad as the CIA-trained mujahadeen terrorist schools. It's the worst sort of human and not the finest of American values. The greater our overwhelming defeat of the third-world non-enemies, the greater the impoverished ignorant highly-trained suicide operatives volunteer for warlords and their wet work, wherever and whenever directed by the boys in the backroom. Where's the backroom? That's the other question. The largest source of fuunding for Al Queada is from Saudi Arabia. Who happens to be the "ally" used by Bush in his BBQs down in Crawford where all discussions are kept secret. Who happen to be the fathers the planners of the 9/11 event Etc etc etc It all stinks. Bottom line, get rid of Bush, and you'll get rid of terrorism.
