That's the story from the administration, but I don't believe it holds water, because when you read more than just the soundbites, the proclamations are to get the infidels out of the holy lands and away from influencing the people.

The people, of course, who they are attempting to keep militantly ignorant by eliminating all information and having 5 brainwash sessions every day (by contrast, Bush Jr. only has one per day!). However, that is doomed to failure, since information gets around no matter how much they try, and Americans are known to be "good guys", when they aren't invading someone. If we leave them to their own devices (non-WMD) they will soon come running to the US for their technology, project management, funds, grants, oil sales, and UN votes.

The UN: a good organization that will take another century to reach an equilibrium. It's interesting to compare the difference between the way JFK used the UN in the Cuban missile crisis, and the ham-fisted way Cheney et al have. Even Bush Senior didn't piss off the rest of the world.

These guys are so drunk with power they can't get their story straight. As one CIA operative said, "be careful, Senator, we could create martial law in this country, tomorrow!"

The friggin' idiots will overstep their bounds and the house of Bush will come crashing down w/in the next 18 months. Meanwhile we are asked to pretend to make nice and hope the Islamic underbelly stays focused on each other rather than the Bush Regime and all Americans.

Speaking to most stupid individual(MSI) is speaking to a most stupid individual. A loony toon in loony town. I do wonder how does a mind get that way.
