So because we twiddled our thumbs while one certifiably mad tyrant got nuclear weapons (plus missiles which can reach our shores), we should do the same for Saddam - we don't want to be unequal do we? Sounds like a silly argument to me.

Really curious why you think this is a "Must Read"...all over SI???

Why would she think Bush is "stopped in his tracks".....remember his "axis of evil" comment?? North Korea was one of the 3....remember?

This argument amazes me.

Last week you guys were arguing that we couldn't go after Iraq because we had to focus on Al Qaeda.

This week you guys are arguing that we can't go after Iraq because we aren't going after North Korea.

Do you see any inconsistency here?

Maybe telling liberals that they are hypocrites works, but I don't think it works on conservatives. I'd rather be a live hypocrite than a dead whatever-it-is that you guys are arguing we should be, but I can't follow the line of reasoning so I don't know what it is.

It reminds me of the joke about the Jewish mother.

She gave her son two shirts, and when he put one on, she said "the other one you didn't like?"

Double bind. It drives susceptible people insane.
