Oh...you want to contain Saddam just like he has been contained for the last 10 years. ???????

I see. <sarcasm heavy here>

Well, I will have to believe the intelligence reports from our Government and the Governments of our allies, that Saddam has been a good deal less than contained for the last 10 years.

And as far as believing that the US has "hurt the innocent Iraqi people"...when it is in fact the so called leader of that country who has killed, abused and starved them....

To be kind, I suggest you read more on ALL sides of the issue, not just the articles you post.

None of us like Saddam but but I feel its up to the Iraqi people to overthrow their leader (we can help train and equip the resistance and we are ramping up our efforts to do that)...this is part of 'containment'...Our sanctions on Iraq have been counter-productive as we have hurt the innocent Iraqi people and reduced their capacity to resist Saddam.
